The Reel Book Lovers Club Book to Movie Selections for 2017

reel book lovers club held monthly for book to movie adaptions

If you love reading and watching movies that have been adapted from books, then you’ll want to join the Reel Book Lovers each month at the Gordon-Nash Library in New Hampton, NH. Seeing your favorite characters brought to life on the big screen can sometimes be thrilling and everything you hoped for, and other times, it can be utterly disappointing. This book/movie club is for people who are interested in reading books, watching the movies they inspired and discussing them with friends.

From January through May meetings will be held on the third Wednesday of the month in the Nash Gallery on the lower level of the library.  Due to the Gordon-Nash Music & Art series being held at the library on the third Wednesday of each month from June to October, club meetings will move to the fourth Wednesday of the month. The movie will start at 5:30 p.m. where the group will watch that month’s movie together and then discuss the book and movie following the viewing. Bring your own snacks and non-alcoholic beverages (sharing is optional), popcorn will be provided.
